Hi guys! These are my top 5 products for oily/combination skin. They last all day, eliminate shiny areas and help your makeup stay in place! :)
Rimmel Stay Matte Primer
This is a fairly new discovery of mine, but it has soon become a staple in my day to day makeup routine. I don't really own many primers, as I feel like they can clog up my pores and end up making my makeup look worse. But I really love this new product from Rimmel. It's quite thick and white in consistency but soon soaks in to the skin and makes your skin feel soft, silky and perfectly smooth.
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
Pretty much everyone in the beauty/blogging world has tried this powder and I haven't really heard a negative thing about the product itself. I love the powder, I have it in the shade 001 transparent so I can apply it throughout the day to reduce any shiny areas without changing the colour of my foundation. The only downside is that it smashes so easily because of the plastic lid so be wary if you choose to put it in your handbag.
Revlon Colorstay Foundation
This is a bit of a marmite foundation. Loads of people seem to love it, but lots of people don't like it so I was quite hesitant to buy it, especially for £12.99. I knew I was going out for the whole day and needed something that would need minimal touch ups, so I thought I'd give it a go and I love it! It's definitely a full coverage, heavy foundation so I won't be using it every day, but when I know I need a foundation to last all day and give me full coverage, I will use this for sure!
No7 Pore Refining Serum
I would never normally use no7 products because most of them seem to be anti-aging which at 17, would be a waste of money. But this was given to me by my Grandma so I didn't have to spend my own money on it. I use this after cleansing my face but before my primer to make my skin smoother and more even. It doesn't give as immediate results as the rimmel primer, but is a nice lightweight option if you don't want such a thick product on your face and it really does help your makeup last longer,
Origins Zero Oil Deep Pore Cleanser
This is probably the best cleanser I've ever tried as far as seeing results straight away. If my skin is ever feeling particularly oily or greasy, I use this for a few days and your skin feels soft and plump, but not stripped or tight. I've had it since October and I'm now trying to use it sparingly because I'm nearly out and there isn't anywhere I can buy origins near me haha!
I hope this post was helpful if you suffer from oily skin! I would love to know what your holy grail products are if you have oily skin so make sure to leave a comment down below :)
